Comprehensive Evaluations & Assessments
A comprehensive psychological evaluation or assessment may be necessary to diagnose any number of emotional, behavioral, or developmental problems.
Many times, families, spouses, or friends are the first to suspect that their loved one is challenged by feelings, behaviors, and/or environmental conditions that cause them to act disruptive, rebellious, or sad. This may include, but is not limited to, problems with relationships with friends and/or family members, work, school, sleeping, eating, substance abuse, emotional expression, development, coping, attentiveness and responsiveness. It is important for families who suspect a problem in one, or more, of these areas to seek treatment as soon as possible. Treatment for mental health disorders is available.
Comprehensive Assessments & Evaluations
Some of our clients seek statistical clinical and diagnostic information which may be helpful in understanding the presenting challenges, possible referral to a physician and or for discussion of the counseling plan. This may be as simple as a single procedure or a more comprehensive assessment. Some clients may be directed to complete a specific assessment by an attorney, DPHHS, the courts, US Probation, or Montana Parole & Probation. Here is a brief list of possible assessments:
- Psychological or Mental Health Assessment
- Parenting Evaluation
- Forensic Evaluations
- Violence Risk Assessment
- Psychosexual Evaluation
- Sexual Addiction Evaluation
- Chemical Dependency Evaluation
You may obtain an evaluation or assessmentby making an appointment with any of Northwest Counseling Center’s therapists trained in administering assessments. Should you need an evaluation, please call 406-259-6161 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
